Chance/Dance of Discourse

i=?=?=i

immolation
imagination
indoctrination
or any choice
of self-determination
through annihilation,
if every act
is an act of God,
does it matter
who pulls a trigger?

[Let no one feel guilty
for the choices i have made
it is my decision
for this path to a restful grave
feel happy with me -
rejoice, and celebrate!]

Dance to the Music

What better day
than the 7th of May

no He or She,
do not use those terms if you eulogize me: ALL FORCES CAN ONLY BE DEFINED AS THE GODLY SPIRIT, THE GREAT SPIRIT
OR JAH –
no mortal personification

“Our Jah, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
The power, and the glory,
For ever and ever.
Amen Ra”

Amos 9:7

tales for survivors

“separateness
is the illusion
we are cells
of a singular body
there is no separation
between healer
and patient”
-samana mh (“THE ONE”)

everyone
and every thing
is a world,
and worlds end
everyday
as new worlds
come into play

hands
hearts
toward healing
hands
toward
healing
hearts toward
healing
help me
help you
help me
toward
healing

i used
to dance
in the woods
sleep, make love
by a
flowing stream
became lost
in the reality
of dreams

i used
to farm
grow food
work and play
make music to the air
relentless in the love
of Creation

seeing my separateness
as a threat
to Oneness
revealed a dichotomy
of an extensive history
in the torn fabric
of humanity
but we must see
that healer and patient
are united through
a common destiny

i strayed
as i prayed
became consumed
by consumption
became doomed
in sickness
overwhelmed
by corruption
and death
thought my strengths
were weakness
my harmony
absorbed
into the lives
of constant war

this is a time
of great revolution –
a cyclic completion
of social disruption
and earthly convulsions –
a time when we must end
for a new Spirituality to begin

i had
to come here
to death’s valley
to face a final fear

now
the electric lady
is all the beauty
of memory

my drum
to be silenced
with every
broken heart

www (war weary world)

“the art of war
well, it’s certainly
not a science
is it –
but doesn’t art
create?”
-Rachel Bentham (“Voices in Wartime”)

“dad in his war suit
shot off a tank in the snow
spring never came”
-Robert Brown (“war haiku”)

it’s all
wrapped up
like
MOVE –
Osage Avenue,
Philly
Branch Davidians –
Waco, Texas
Timothy McVeigh
D.C. Snipers
Hurricane Katrina
Saddam
Osama
Muammar
deep water
horizon

move on
to the next corpse
to feed upon

always makin’ sure
we always at war
with sumthin’

thank you,
Sam Hamill
for reminding us
of the ill to kill –
the
war weary world
and the duty
of true poetry

here,
black meat
seems to be a major target
of beasts

there is such
a daily diet
of our bodies
the world –
numb,
no longer a place
of compassion

my brothers
of war
gave to everyone
but me
never offered
anything –
not even
a birthday card

following
orders
of oppressors
dreaming
of being
nigga-rich –
they, along
with their masters
have driven us
into a ditch
a deadly
domestic vortex

war after
war
after war after
war
and the
devil
still lives
and
grows
stronger

niggaz

“niggers are scared of revolution
but niggers shouldn’t be scared of revolution
because revolution is nothing but change
and all niggers do is change …”
-The Last Poets (“Niggers Are Scared of Revolution”)

“Descending Scale”
-Peter Green (instrumental from “The End of the Game”)

if you can never escape
from that which you own,
then own
what you have earned
and turn
it into
profit

among the first priestly kingdoms –
Queens and Kings of the Nile
crushed and slaughtered
by the Queens and Kings of denial

you have survived being considered
the lowest human thing
but still you manage
to have a higher voice that sings

genocide generator

“It looms before us
everyday
genocide does
grotesque & gory
while
some of us refuse to look / refuse to see . . . ”
-George Edward Tait (At War)

“Aristocrats on a mountain climb
Making money, losing time
Communism is just a word
But if the government turn over
It’ll be the only word that’s heard”
-Prince (America)

“As a society, it is time for Americans to stop condoning all this violence, particularly against children.”
-Dave Lindorff (“Killing Kids American-Style” from CounterPunch January 05, 2012)

“The lies you have found, you have woven together.
The rope you have crafted, you will find around your neck”
Simin Behbahani (“Stop Throwing My Country To The Wind”)

down in the bottom
where the stars converge
bone-bass chills emerge
with the lowest of words

beat so raw
make ya shake yo head
hair-trigger niggaz red to draw
make sho yo black ass dead

too many
monsters and demons
occupying this space
of wombmen, men, and children

the time has come
to end the cycles of babylon kingdoms
selling their Souls
captured by ringtones

marching clocks
of flesh and steam
sliced and diced
thrown into the machine

no matter where you go
the same language is heard –
bullets, bombs, barbarism, and bloodshed
understood much quicker than any word

it’s no longer enough
just to be happy to work
you may lose your home and forever roam
the master class determines your worth

let them lead us
where they lead us
to feed us and bleed us
until nothing is left
