it is important to have neutral voices on this planet:
poets, writers, artists
who observe, provoke, evoke, and invoke images and messages
beyond the repetitious bullshit of the mundane –
expanding, extending, and challenging beliefs and lies
and the same old stories fed to us by rulers and followers
of oppressive regimes and systems used to profit from the illusions
of a few while feeding on the deaths, murders, misfortune, and victimization of the many.
this racist/fascist country has never changed, even with a darker hued president. there was a time when the wheels of justice could not move fast enough for the racist majority, and men, wombmen, and children were pulled from beds, shacks, farms, jail cells, or wherever they unfortunately stood to be tortured, lynched, and killed by the whims of these racists. study the history of lynching in this country, and it should sicken you with these facts, just as a postcard of the lynching of Laura Nelson and her son, Lawrence in 1911, from a bridge in Oklahoma exists as cold evidence.
now racists have different faces. a racist can now be of any color, as racism has become more esoteric and subtle as a perceived attitude toward anyone of a darker hue in any given situation at any give time, including stereotypical scenarios of language, clothing, or lifestyles. whites hate blacks. yellows hate blacks. reds hate blacks. and blacks hate blacks. so, obviously, black is the target. but all of this falls under the guise of a hypocritical quest for the solidarity of a higher humanity! the racist/fascist systems of this world will always be broken until they are no longer racist/fascist systems.
the killing of Trayvon Martin is the latest event in this country’s sad history. not only did his killer, George Zimmerman, protected by the skin color of the ruling majority, walk. but those in support of Zimmerman, without any compassion for the murdered victim, overlooked and under-heard hard evidence of absolute truths – the 9-1-1 calls, and the videoed recording of George Zimmerman being arrested immediately after the murder. George Zimmerman was allowed to carry a gun with a criminal record, and Trayvon Martin unarmed and murdered, was without a criminal record. racist/fascists engage in the reverse psychology of a collective exercise known as lying until the truth is blurred to the point of unbelievability! this exercise has been effective since President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. we are now on the other side of justice from the days of Laura and Lawrence Nelson. i am black and proud, and i can say i have been in the same situation as Trayvon – judged and stereotyped because of racist brainwashing and indoctrination – the targeted boogeyman of a society. i am tired of being targeted as a global boogeyman because of the ignorance of my albinitstic brothers and sisters. it makes me cringe when i hear someone say: “well he doesn’t look like a murderer; a serial killer; a robber, or a rapist.” tell me, what in the hell does a murderer, a serial killer, a robber, or a rapist truly look like? maybe anyone, huh? maybe any fucking body, huh? all you racist/fascists fuckers need to wash your minds clean and begin anew. all need to be proud of our godly hues, the beautiful colors we are given. be who you are, not at the expense of others being who they are. colorblindness is just another defect. embrace the spectrum of our humanity.
the Trayvon Martin killing is just the reappearance of the judgmental racist killers and lynchers from yesteryear. what better case for the double-standard of this empire, and how many Trayvon’s are out there who were not lucky enough to be brought into the public eye? i, like many other black people, have a first hand experience of being in the hands of incompetent police – but at the same time, i also have a few stories to share about when police have also proven to be good Samaritans, and true public servants. nothing is always as black and white as some people would like to make it seem.
anyway, this new post is under the title of “dough-nations (donations)” because i am a neutral voice through all of this madness. and i feel if you read my blog, this will speak for itself, in it’s own unique and far out way. i have tried my best to remain steadfast, under the radar, and uncaring of the opinions of oppressors, and it hasn’t been easy. ArtPolitik has been smacked, whacked, and hacked! but ArtPolitik has never cracked or slacked in its commitment, informal technique, and straight-up creative imagination in its use of the word. i have been holding up for six years without any commercial crap or hi-tech bells and whistles, but now i need a little bread to keep holding on! ArtPolitik is going through hard times just like everyone else. just like Richard Pryor said, “… they didn’t even have a year for it, just called it ‘hard times.’ It was dark ALL the time. I think the sun came out on Wednesday….”! so if anyone is interested in helping one neutral voice continue, i would like to ask for anything you can spare, and maybe i’ll see you on Wednesday, when the Sun comes out, and we can rub some sunshine on our faces, together, because a change is gonna come.
