are the busiest folks
divided and misguided
unschooled and ruled by false hopes
they would rather
fight and kill each other
than to unify and stand
against a common oppressor

oblivious to the greatness
of being black
they need to stop
taking for granted
being the first
humans created

i would rather be financially poor
than to live as a stereotype

some are so sick as to seek wealth
