“. . . the world is heavier than they know.
They do not know. They fight knowledge with abstraction
and think they cool because they talk to they self. They are
full of shit like vultures “pecking” on an open grave . . .”
-Amiri Baraka (Against Bourgeois Art)
“You may wish to have me burned , or decide to stone me. But in your hand match or stone will lose their power to harm me.”
-Simin Behbahani
when a nation
cannot share its poets
and is threatened
by a poet in motion -
then it is no longer a nation,
it is but a weak tyranny
teetering on the edge of chaos
chiseling their citizens into children of stone
shaking and in fear that it may lose control
of the flim-flam game of governing
hiding its reflection behind the fascist mirror
bankruptcy, greed, and bullying
always follows the legacy of militaristic barbarians
we have seen it right here with the amerrykkkan sham
in how it has treated Amiri Baraka
so we are not fooled by other cheap tribes
fight on, mystic-warrior-artists of the new dimensions
the world is shifting with the changes of your visions
the Spirit of the Eternal Cosmos stands behind our souls
The Ancients will ever protect the aura of the enlightened
only the wicked are intimidated by the peaceful strength
of the wise and intelligent of the Most High
