Chance/Dance of Discourse

madder

“But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers …”
-I Timothy 1:8-9

“God is neither good
nor evil,
neither loving
nor hating.
God is power.
God is change.
We must find the rest of
what we need
within ourselves,
in one another,
in our destiny.”
-Octavia Butler

“Jimi Hendrix was a nigger.
Jesus Christ and Grandma, too.
Jackson Pollock was a nigger.
Nigger, nigger, nigger, nigger,
nigger, nigger, nigger.”
-Patti Smith

“I Rasta Man still stand
I no want no seat ina them wolf pack congregation
I Rasta Man still stand”
-Midnite (Ras Mek Peace)

they murdered black Jesus
and changed his color
to build a racist world
and a racist religious order -

to keep black people lower
to keep black people in the sewer
to steal black lands and destroy black spirits
to enslave blacks and make them untouchable forever

who would build a nigger-world
but a world of niggers?
who can embrace humanity,
and yet deny aboriginal brothers and sisters?

who would build the nigger-word
but the words of niggers?
every hue-man reflects the other
no matter the hatred, wars, killing, and murder
somehow, some way, somewhere, some day
we must discover
our love for one another
if we could connect to love
the way we connect to power, money, guns, and drugs
our lives would be full enough
but we must discover
our love for each other
our love, we must discover
and place it in the highest position
of our universal order -
as the only law

to all of you,
let me see you carry
what you put upon others:
creators of bigots and niggers
murderers of sons and daughters
murderers of mothers and fathers
people-oppressors
and womb-dictators

take and eat
this nigger-world you have created
take and drink
this nigger-blood you have invented
may it make you dead and alive
at the same time
may it sicken you and heal you
may it put you to sleep and wake you up
may it expose your hidden face outside of the mirror
may it rip your perceptions
in omni-directions
crashing through dimensions
of infinite answers and questions
you cannot escape the reality
of human relativity
you cannot escape the infinite blackness
of endless niggerness -
the godly grace
of eternal, dark space
immeasurable canvas of omni-creation
god-void of infinite allness, station to station
Creator of every thing
ever growing, ever giving

may you begin to clean up
your own trash
and be responsible
for your own madness
and kick yourself
in your own ass
and stone your own self
to stupid death
because for everyone who gets mad,
there is always someone who is madder -
madder
to make things better

come to love, my people
your people, all people
love is our only savior
our only Creator
come to love, we, the people
hue-men
human
humankind
humankindness

war

“I had been detained for a month and a day, during which I had witnessed the efficiency of evil.”
-Ken Saro-Wiwa

impulses
of neurons
separated
severed
and divided

the synapses
become wounded
and shut down
by corrupt receptors
and sick, selfish,
de-sensitized automatons
of the body

the wider,
expansive harmonia
short-circuits
as the central balance of wholeness
implodes
crossing over
into anti-space
causing the reflex arc
to explode,
convoluting cognizance,
consciousness,
and language,
establishing a deluded perception
of a normal existence
in outsanity
as light
only occupies
a negative void

the avant-garde nerve system
always creates
a savior-bridge
operating outside of
predictable polarities,
ever discovering
and pioneering new shapes
of the ionic mass,
unafraid
of exploratory surgery
or confronting
reflection and refractivity

to live
is to always question death
to be melancholic
is to always question joy and happiness
to build
is to always question destruction
to be whole
is to always question transformation

Technology Of Prayer

“True perfection seems imperfect,
yet is perfectly itself.”
-Lao-tzu (Tao te Ching)

prayer
is not just
an outward expression -
a display
or pose
through physical construction
and visual, manipulated positions
or audio
or the wearing of clothes -
the sacred
is not always exposed

prayer
is no simple act:
a meditation of faith
not based in fact

we all reach for something
to put us over the TOP
to fight disease, to survive
to make all pain and evil stop -

to lead us to live right
to love right
through the darkness
of light

parabolic arcs

“I have to keep flying
as I find the ground absurd.”
-Petra Kelly

merging
converging
moving
refusing
pulling apart
into one

the cosmic laws of opposites
naturally
bring to light
the mysteries of harmony

weight
weightlessness
are no burden
to consciousness

always fight
to free the higher mind
even if it requires
leaving old worlds behind

the rise and fall
of power systems
are forgetful
and unforgiving
forever
be a warrior for freedom
forever
fight to dissolve oppression
forever
maintain the dream of heaven
